Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison

The Bluest Eye is an amazing book. The novel employs the satire of the philosophy of physical beauty, and uses a very sophisticated language. Pecola the protagonist is by far one of the most sympathetic characters that I have come across in my venture through literature; she endures racism, sexism, and even rape! The surprises, twists and turns this book utilizes make it an up-all-night journey. If you enjoy the complexity of analyzing a book to the core, "The Bluest Eye" is a brilliant read!!!
